There is a screamingly funny documentary about a French group of re-enactors traveling to the US to meet real Indians. At one point they leave a house on the reservation because the drunken neighbors are shouting at them. They thought the Indians would attack.

Relevant because it says something about the culture of guns.
This is a romantic notion about guns and might be similar to what is happening in America.
