    Hi guys,

Scientology just got the beating of a lifetime in the Danish media! :D Apparently one of their representatives was caught on hidden camera postulating that dianetics could even heal physical injuries, which has prompted massive criticism. The article is here: EPIC WIN!!!

I heard about this on Twitter:

    DatumOmNom CofS Exit Zone
#Scientology promises to heal physical injuries in Copenhagen on camera and media has a field day…
    27 minutes ago

    Here's the article:

Scientology lover at helbrede fysiske skader -

Pasting the Danish text into Google Translate produced this:

Scientology promises to heal physical injuries

    30th October 2011 10.00 Inland

It is considered a reasonable miraculous healings.

So cash is the announcement from a Scientologist, when he at a meeting would convince 21Søndags reports that Scientology can help with physical injuries.

    Test makes people vulnerable

The meeting has 21Søndag completed a stress test on the Scientology website. The test is a series of personal questions, and with the test result can be a Scientologist supposedly find out how to have it in life.

But according to former Scientology member Robert Dam, the test is designed to make people vulnerable, so you can sell them courses and different from Scientology.

Ultimately, the purpose of the test to get you involved in Scientology, says Robert Pond, who has been in charge of the meetings is to 21søndag.

Says they can cure incurable diseases

The meeting comes Scientologist forward to our broadcast has "melancholy" and it is due to an old knee injury.

21søndags reporter emphasizes twice that knee injury is purely physical. Then determine Scientologist that the mind has power over the body, and that Scientology can cure the incurable disease through conversational therapy.

For example, you can get partially sighted to throw away your glasses, tells Scientologist at the meeting.

    Scientology: Can not cure ailments

21søndag after filming has submitted session course for Scientology. They are responding to an email sent to DR where they write the following:

"To say if we promise physical healing through the use of Dianetics method:

(...) If you are injured, there may be mental blocks associated with the injury. These blockages can sometimes delay the natural healing process. Through Dianetics method, these blockages reduced or abolished and it may mean that the physical healing would go faster. However, it is not the main objective, but rather a side benefit of Dianetics therapy, which aims to improve the individual's mental and spiritual wellbeing .(...)"

Scientology's official position is thus to their therapy, Dianetics, not only can help cure the incurable diseases, as otherwise stated in the meeting. Scientology's official position is that Dianetics can only promote a healing process.

    'It is nonsense'

Former Scientologist Robert Dam is angry that Scientology probable that could help when you sit to come to the meeting.

He (Scientologist) sits and says that he can help with anything physical. And it is nonsense. How to talk therapy to repair a broken knee, said Robert Dam, adding that therefore, the encounter actually only bait.

If our broadcast agrees to get treatment by Scientology would start a long process that could cost several thousand dollars, says Robert Dam.

Really doesn't matter, the damage to their image in DK is permanent. They were completely fleeced on nationwide TV during primetime + they showed two ex-members stories of how they were cheated for aprox. 1.2 million and 300 k DKK... this is big because especially a lot of young Danes don't know how dangerous CoS is... :)

People don't realize how fast CoS can suck money once it digs in.

Time for Jyllands-Posten to publish a set of Hubbard cartoons.

Especially if he includes the things L Ron Hubbard had to say about The Prophet Mohammed.

The fuck? Trying to keep all your badass scandinavian beatdowns of the cult to yourselves? Those of us on the other sides of the ponds (hi Aussies) want to join in the celebration too!

Also, that site has already posted an English translation of the article:

^thanks. It is a shorter article than the auto-translated Danish one (which, in places, mistranslates Robert Dam as "Robert Pond")

Ahh, well, you know, same old same old :)

    • clam: "Well, you know, they collect statistics of how many conditions they cure, for instance "incurable" eye conditions are cured and people just throw away their glasses"
    • speaker: "Both [Robert Dam and Sally Kragh Andersen] experienced that $cientology had special staff who encouraged and helped them to take out loans when their current accounts were no longer enough" Oh, and some loans are taken out in high-interest rate specialised companies (i.e. borderline loan shark operations). And for a regular bank loan, the victim is coached for hours about the conversation with the bank. Gosh, I do hope that the members are not coached to tell any lies in those hours and hours of coaching - that would be organised fraud in any sensible jurisdiction...
    • "Double digit million" of Danish Kr spent on getting a big old building on "Nytorv" - very very nice part of town, right off the main shopping drag and enough space for demos... Ooooh :). (10 million Danish Kroner is 1.9 million USD.)
Dig the fashion accessory in Sally's room at 16:44 :)

Oh, and more "tomorrow" (Monday 31st) - I'll have a browse around. EDIT: Couldn't find anything in the 18:30 news from the day after.

    Best regards
