I never dreamed I'd ever be writing this here on WWP, but I've finally woken up to what I believe what Marty's intentions really are, and I feel compelled to warn others, scientologists and anons. Though I'm likely preaching to the aware choir here.

Mark (Marty) Rathbun is censoring rational, decorum debate on his blog, even censoring scientologists, not just Anons. IMO, by doing so, he is acting no better than CofS.

Why is he doing this? Because I believe he's covering up his true intention. IMO, he's in a war to take down David Miscavage, not because it's the right thing to do, but because, I fear, he wants to take over the lead position of power in CofS himself.

Mark Rathbun is deceiving and lying to independent scientologists (through censorship), and using his public trust of scientologists to gain "authority" with his aggression against David Miscavage.

That he uses censorship on his blog is repulsive to the idea of Free Speech, and, ironically, even to the scientology creed. He spits on both.

My concern is that if he does succeed in a deceiving Church of Scientology coup, that we will end up with the same shit, from just a different person. Tyranny always begins with censorship to dominate others. That Marty is already exercising censorship on his blog should send up a huge red warning flag that he's obsessed with control, just like David Miscavage.

(The above text is long, I admit. But I thought the length of it was necessary to properly deliver what I wanted to say. My intention was to communicate to the most educated folks there who have no problem with reading, not to Marty's minion worshippers.)

Marty replied to this message with a curt and snide remark, of which I replied back to, however, he censored it from other scientologists there. My reply is not there. It's gone. Deleted. Censored.

So here is THAT reply to his snide "demand and punishment" comment, which I have posted here, and that he did not have the courage to approve, for scientologists and non-scientologist there to read:

I'm actually thrilled you posted my opinion. Thank you. That took courage, and I admire and appreciate that.

Why don't you use logical debate with me? You have "proven" absolutely nothing with your reply. Instead, you're demonstrating your unwillingness to confront and debate my points, Marty.

The truth is, you just proved the entire point of my "diatribe" (with your inval, eval, threat, punishment) by your expressed desire to thought-stop yet even again with your threat to me (or punishment if you follow through) by censoring me again, when you said, 'it'll be your last one [post] here.'

Do you really think you're validly proving your point by shutting me out? You are doing quite clearly the opposite. Aware scientologists and critics will easily see that. You're bare naked. You're nailed, Marty.

You clearly practice unreasonable censoring and thought-stopping, Marty, when it's an opinion you obviously don't like. You admitted it silently by not denying you practice it. In my message, I gave you every opportunity to do so.

I hope others wake up to what you are doing here. That is not practicing scientology by respecting its creed. You spit on it.

So if you don't "approve" this reply to your curt and snide comment, you'll have 100% proven my point ... once again, about your censorship.

Why not try confronting your own evil, first, before you go about judging others' wrongnesses?"

An example of a web conversation with no censorship is alt.religion.scientology. it's very chaotic and a lot of people just can't handle all the junk on there.

An example of a web conversation with moderators is here. Some people get upset when their post is deleted, but all in all it seems to work pretty well.

Marty is his own moderator for his site. Obviously you don't like the way he's doing that job. But that doesn't prove he's the next DM. It only proves you think he's a lousy moderator. So you're going to need a bit more proof for me that Marty is simply trying to replace DM.

I would agree that Marty is trying to save Scientology from DM. But that's a whole other discussion.

I don't believe for one second that Marty will replace DM even if DM goes down. It just won't happen. David Miscavige is the evil person within the CO$ But I am curious who will replace the little midjet

Safe, when you attempt to link to a specific comment on Marty's blog, the link will nevertheless take you back to Marty's original write-up. This particular post has close to 400 comments - too many to wade through for most of us. Word Press is set up that way I think, so not a Mahty ego trip.

Is your original post and Marty's reply too long (5000+characters) to copypaste?

PLEAZE! All I can say to the human beings that MADE A CHOICE to join the cult of Scientology (then finally figured out you were duped) you really need to get PSYCHIATRIC help!
I say this out of REAL concern & care because I have no doubt it will really help you!
It doesn't happen over night & takes a lot of courage & inner strength to do. but its worth it in order to move on & reclaim you life! YOU DESERVE IT!

Thank you. I think I am ready to enter the free wog world of WWP.

I'm over all the "enemy images" bullshit originated by LRH. Dr. Marshall Rosenberg, in his book, Nonviolent Communication, helped me out a lot there, and I self deprogrammed myself from that bullshit.

I do support a true science of "knowing how to know", of which its real technology can be freely developed by anybody, not this ridiculous "only one" BS.

I do not support what I call "name-brand Scientology" promoted by the CofS, whatsoever.

If scientology is the accepted word for "the science of knowing how to know", that LRH labeled, (though that word is not defined as that in any common English dictionary I know) then I accept it only as a science, never a religion.

(I don't know of any other label for this definition.)

I'm totally over religion. I'm not religious. Though I consider myself to be a spiritual person. I do like the subject of self development.

One of my biggest pet peeves is censorship. I know tyranny begins there. So if that qualifies me to be an anon, then I proudly wear that label.

I appreciate the heads up. I am OK with being stomped on. I got used to it on Marty's blog. I totally support Free Speech. Of course, I don't support deception or lying by anybody, as most others don't here either.

No, I don't practice name-brand Scientology. I shy against even using the word "scientology" (lower cap) because that LRH label for "the science of knowing how to know" is now held in utter contempt by most non-scientologists.

I don't believe in any galactic wars type myths conjured up by LRH, either. I like real, solid science and technology which can be proven. So I don't know what to "label" myself as. I'm just another guy is all.

Yup. I left the "church" in 1999, and became a severe critic of it (though I was still, what I called myself at the time, an "authentic" Scientologist) on A.R.S., then I got the wrath of the "church", hunting down my identity under my alias of "Safe", through CofS's false claims I was violating their copyrights. (As the link above explains)

They effectively shut me up for 10 years because I was horrified and terrorized by the idea that any "church" would even do this.

Not until a couple months ago did I come back as a critic of CofS, which I started actively posting on Marty's blog. Then I realized that Marty was behaving the same way as CofS!

So now I am here.

Rockyj, I really don't think it's fair to characterize exes as people who made a choice. Obviously people who were born in didn't make any kind of choice, but even adults who joined did not choose to join the cult of Scientology.

No one ever chooses to join a cult. They choose to join a self-improvement group, a human rights group, a church, to go for drug rehab, or whatever. That's why Scientology is so active in these areas. They lie and misrepresent what they're really doing, and people sign-up. Then they get destroyed.

I really think what goes on with Narconon is a great example of how Sci operates. Look at the claims they make. Sounds great, doesn't it? And before 2008 it was almost impossible to find out the truth about them. They rook people in with lies about success rates and outrageously false claims, and people "choose" to get involved with them. And why wouldn't they? Narconon sounds pretty good at what they do. Too bad it's all lies.

If Sci told the truth about itself to prospective members,no one would ever choose to join.

I appreciate the warning. It's ok. In the past, I know I would have been hurt by nasty comments, and would have gotten extremely angry over them. I know now that I'm responsible for my own feelings, thanks to Dr. Marshall Rosenberg.

When I get bitter "jackal" comments, I'll just put on my "giraffe ears" and listen to what is really being said behind those comments, and not take it personally.

Besides, how much worse could it be here, than the bitter jackal comments I got from Marty? lol.

Thank you for the hospitality. It makes me sad that scientologists don't have the confront to come here and communicate. But I understand that to do so, they have to get past their bullshit. I know how difficult that can be. I was there in that hell.

I tried on Marty's blog to tell them how they could help themselves through nonviolent communication, taught by Dr. Rosenberg. But none listened, and many criticized it without even looking at what it is.

I was shocked by seeing their minds revolt against the idea of nonviolent communication! You kidding me? Now THAT is crazy to me. I truly realized the depth of inculcation hell they are in, even many so-called "independents."

This shows how the "attack, never defend" mentality has been deeply driven into their minds. This horrifies me, and makes me sad. This idea is LRH crap, clearly. He started that inculcation when he caved into thinking in "enemy images" himself.

Glad you're out, glad you're here. You'll find a range of opinions here and lots of debate (some of great quality, some that leaves you banging your head into the wall). Another voice of reason from an ex is always welcome.

There are plenty of former members who find WWP a welcome breath of fresh air (filled with foul language and lots of unnecessary references to things better left unspoken).

We tolerate some moonbat behavior but try to keep it in check. Some posters are idiots. Some offer great insight and occasional brilliance. All are committed to seeing an end to the Church of Scientology*....

All in all, a pretty good place to spend your time. It's never boring. Plus, you can go to the dome and see tits.

Thank you. I'm truly glad to be here, and I appreciate the warm welcome I've received so far.

It's nice to see that I can think freely, and write freely here ... which is actually a concept that's in the scientology creed. But not many scientologists or name-brand Scientologists apply it.

It's hilarious to me that it's the anons at WWP actively applying this Freedom, but not most scientologists. What irony and hypocrisy.

No wonder scios are thought to be stupid. I really understand that viewpoint of anons. Perhaps I should be thankful for Marty censoring me, or I wouldn't be here now.

I have been on/in here since it all began with Anonymous. It used to be called Enturbulation.net but the owner walked off with the tech equipment that was donated. LOL

WWP rose from the ashes and has been a great resource. Some like it here (as I do) and some get ejected or trolled to death for various reasons.

I remember your sane viewpoints from a.r.s. posts over the years. Thanks for those!
I even put one of your posts in the "Top 100 Reposted Classics" from a.r.s. when you wrote about how DM took power. I still have it as a file. Google drained the a.r.s. archive into the ocean of general posts so we don't have that pool of focused data any more but I still have the top 100 posts on file.

Welcome here, and lurk A LOT to see the way things flow here. Stay out of the ThunderDome is probably good advice. We will see how you do...
