May I Present To You.... Happy Holidays, here is the new WWP server. No, this is not the server from LE! I continued down that path for a while, and once he stopped returning my emails I decided to take a different avenue. The staff has pulled together and purchased this server with our own money (not donations) in an effort to reduce the overhead of this website. Part of the reason that our monthly colocation cost was so expensive is because we had to lease a strong server to handle the load this site generates. A few days ago we peaked out at 10k users simultaneously browsing, and about 100k visitors in one day - We initially pegged our 10Mbit network which is why the site began going slowly, but once we upgraded to 100Mbit everything went very smoothly. The point being that this has been money well spent, and we wouldn't have been able to sustain the traffic caused by Jett's death without it. So thank you. So yes, this new server arrived today and I will begin installing it momentarily. This month we will be moving to this server in a new datacenter, and our overall cost will be dropped at least in half to just a little over $400/mo.
