This is from a comment by Patty Moher today: http://blogs.villagevoice.com/runninscared/2011/11/scientology_sun.php#comment-356929924 Posting here in case anyone here can connect it to someone who has any dox.
It's probably Harry, that way he gets 10% of his money back. I saw an other loan fraud mentioned in a comment athttp://blogs.villagevoice.com/runninscared/2011/11/scientology_sun.php#comment-357318982
There was some dodgy loan stuff in the Birmingham email leak. Looked like that was 'getting a loan from the bank under false pretences' mostly though.
This is a plausible scienoscam. Expect to see more bankruptcy filings from scientologists in the near future.
The Birmingham e-mail leak contains a large quantity of very suggestive material. Besides the bank loans angle, there is circumstantial evidence of pressuring people to obtain "student loans." It is disappointing that hard evidence was missing from the trove but the circumstantial evidence has many dots to connect, perhaps with other leaked material, or with more of the same yet to come.
All I know for a fact is in the case of the Birmingham UK Idle Org the building had been purchased through shell companies before they started reg'ing members to buy it; they even had the gall to release a story that they were coming up short with donations when they already owned it. Dox do exist, a local counsellor has a load of them.
I assume AnonyVix meant 'councillor', not "counsellor". If so, The UK Freedom of Information Act may apply here: http://www.legislation.gov.uk/ukpga/2000/36/part/I/crossheading/right-to-information Whether such dox would be covered, I'm not sure, but there's no harm in trying.
Thanks for this tip. The rich Scns at the tops of the IAS list are mostly investors and real estate agents. This sounds like a version of a Ponzi scheme. Scns have been involved in these before. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reed_Slatkin Will look into this more.
I know a few Birmngham anons were involved in gatherinng dox. There is also a video on Youtbue detailing how it worked and naming the companies involved and the directors. Dox available from companies house UK and companies house in isle of Man both for online download. (Nominal fee applies)
