    Planned Downtime

As we have been very busy planning the now imminent update, we overlooked publicly mentioning that there is going to be a site outage from Friday January 7 night to Saturday January 8.

The planned down time should last up to 12 hours.

We will keep you updated as the upgrade progresses, and hope you will enjoy the coming changes.

Sounds like a Micro-Crud announcement before their latest unannounced Beta Test on the unsuspecting public...

One could argue that everything is always in constant evolution and rarely if ever reaches a final stage. Luckily there are alternatives to both microsoft products and whyweprotest.

    Re: Planned Downtime

That is kind of the idea, this way by anouncing expected "down time" for "upgrades" we have a 12 hour head start. But keep it just between you and me ok?

It's not an official site, but wwp2.has.it (blackupwwp.proboards.com) was setup for such reasons. Feel free to use it while going through withdrawals.

I'm not sure what is so important that it can't wait 12 hours...

Can't wait to go to irc and ask if the mods know wwp is down and then the subsequent thread asking if it was OSAOSAOSA ddos'ing us.

In the mean time I might post on mahtys board just to say hi.
I think we should make moving on up a home away from home for the duration.

That's because you're out of the loop. If you were in, you'd know and you'd be afraid.

Like I said: Play video games and give my cat some extra love. The whole Kitten Vacuum Killer (WARNING! Domed Thread) has made me more appreciative of my kitty.

Then again, the whole downtime occurs after I hit the bed... I may not even notice.

    Re: Planned Downtime

Can you remove my infraction history while you're at the update? It makes me so ashamed of myself!

And where do you expect all the guests to stay during this down time? There's over 600 of the fuckers! Hope there's enough beds in the Mod dorm!

    Re: Planned Downtime

There are no beds in the mod dorm :( only cheap blankets and gruel.

Soon people will be able to use peer to peer electrocution online. It has similarities with the miller test, but then on a larger scale.
