Paging Boz to the white phone: I'm looking for a closing segment for Volume II in this project where I get into some stuff on Bible Old Testament & Judaism stuff. And I think you might be able to hook me up...

Once upon a time, in a Israel-related shitstorm thread, you mentioned an Israel report on Scientology of some sort that you were gonna try and translate when you had time.

Any chance you could pull out & translate me just a short excerpt of something worth using from that sauce? I'm looking for a short piece of content along the lines of showing that Jews dont like Scientology either, if possible. anything in the range of approx 2-10pages would work great if you can mange that. (and if so - TIA!)

Agreed :) Worthy of its addition to the list

    Hey there,
The report I mentioned is from 1987. I definitely need to translate what I promissed you [I haven't been very reliable, sorry]. Currently a couple of friends are visiting from Europe, so I'm totally tied up, as usual. But I will get to this report, thanks for reminding me. I need to be nagged sometimes, seriously.

'87 is a good vintage - thanks for keeping it on the backburner. And if it helps any, I'd be happy just to get a portion of it, excerpts work just fine in a materials catalogue.

I'm nearly back on track after derailing to split up the original Volume 2 materials & inserting the newly redefined Volume 3 into the series gameplan. Latest greatest stuff, now updated here:

From the latest change log comment:
Initial release of Volume II should be coming this weekend, I just need find a suitable closing segment and then I can begin the tedious process of setting up & spinning the next major PDF.

Scientology Religiosity? Volume II :: Judeo-Christian, Semitic, Persian & Islamic Beliefs is underway.

Initial prepress setups is nao done, and the first run of raw content generation gave me 187 total pages to groom & refine into a thing of beauty.

But I haz a question for fellow researchfag & leakhorder peeps. From Dr. Kent's classic essay that I've excerpted for my opening segment in this volume...

    The Creation of 'Religious' Scientology
    (Pub'd in Religious Studies and Theology 18 No. 2 (December 1999): 97-126)

The endnotes list these two items that have sparked my interest:
I don't recall ever seeing a copy/leak of these "Associate Newsletter" dox. Can anybody point me towards the fulltext version somewhere?

Or better yet - hook me up with a copy plox? (Hit me on PMs for confidential leaker relay)

Check with your leak source. That per
Check with your leak source; that person should either have it or point you in the right direction.

Also, check the very old Minister's book, used to become an "official" ordained Scientology Minister. I don't think its in the new, fat, large Ministers book, but in the very old thin book that didn't have a lot of pages. I believe both books were leaked long ago somewhere.
  29. AnonLover Member

^^Thx - will do, when I move on to Volume III.

Meanwhile, Volume II is so much bigger than Volume I that I'm still slugging my way thru compiling the backmatter pages. Thus I don't have a final version released yet. (But the frontmatter is done, and I put a lot more time into polishing up the core content subsections w/ swapping pages in and out & fixing cosmetic nits than I expected).

I would love to see them myself, but I haven't seen anywhere that they surfaced. Hopefully they were presented at the 1983 Clearwater Hearing and attached to the Emmons Report, but it might all be based on oral testimony from Edward Walters.

The Church of Scientology is currently engaged in a nationwide conspiracy to impede and obstruct municipal, state and federal taxing authorities, by adopting a religious and charitable guise to avoid payment of taxes.
"Scientology's internal policies state: "They (the public) want ministers. We will show them what ministers look like" (Vol. 1 p.41). "Churches are looked upon as reform groups. Therefore, we must act like a reform group" (Vol.1 p.196).
"Scientology has nothing to do with religion. The Church did not adopt the religious guise until it was necessary to seek First Amendment protection (Vol.4 p.405).
"Scientology uses a religious image checklist designed to falsely portray a religious image to mislead officials (Vol. 2 p.238,239). "Church policy instructs members to lie to inquiring officials (Vol.1 p.226,227).

    Scientology Religiosity? Volume II:
Judeo-Christian, Semitic, Persian & Islamic Beliefs

Sidenotes: This 2nd volume was much bigger than the 1st volume (just over 200pgs). So my apologies for those who were waiting on it for various sekrit uses... it took me a lot longer than expected. Next up - a 3rd edition of Volume I with additional recently leaked material (that will make the sizes comparable), followed by Volume III that's already 75-80% done.

Cheers! (brb - breaking out booze to celebrate)

Just now getting a chance to fully read this gem...

and the reference to Hubbard attacking nay sayers being akin to Mrs Eddy is extremely poignant (in addition to sounding lulzy) and oh so relevant for the specific time period this was written in.

He's politely referring to the common gripes against the early founders of Christian Science Mary Baker Eddy. Relevent backstory summarized nicely here:

Mary "Faker" Eddy and the Cult of Christian Science

However, in modern day context - the huge difference in Hubbard's cult vs. Eddy's early cultic movement is that her institution morphed, evolved and shed its vengeful ways once that bitch died. Hubbard's didnt, and instead just continued on with the downward spiral to degradation and criminal behavior that he started.
