Hold up wait a minute... isnt that person who is on the recruitment poster our favorite scilon security guard from LA... FRENCHIE!!!!
  12. Re: Sea Org Recruitment poster

When you sign that recruit paper, then spend weeks getting rid of your stuff and connections, and show up at a Sea Org base, you think you are "in". Then after weeks of degrading bootcamp like activities, intended to turn you into a Sea Org member, they tell you you're not qualified unless __________ (fill in the blank with more scientology steps to complete before you are eligible).

You are, of course, D-E-V-A-S-T-A-T-E-D!!!! You have, after all, ended your former life with the intention of being a Sea Org member for the rest of your life. You have nothing to go back to.

So you are, not surprisingly, U-P-S-E-T.

They try to mollify you with the phrase "MANY ARE CALLED. FEW ARE CHOSEN." and they encourage you to complete whatever further qualifying steps you are told you must do. You usually grovel and do them, if you can, so you can get back to "being on purpose" and becoming a Sea Org member.

Then, if you join the Sea Org... and it doesn't work out... and you want to "route out"... and you DO route out...

...you cannot quote the same phrase of "FEW ARE CHOSEN" to indicate you just weren't up to the task of being a Sea Org member. You think you'll get a little sympathy. Instead, you are treated like a pathetic degraded being for the rest of your existence on earth. Sea Org members will vilify you and virtually spit on you... because you left them, you broke your vows, you didn't "make it go right"... and all manner of statements which contradict "and few are chosen".

The purpose of the "many are called, few are chosen" wording is to make it sound like only the elite get in, only the most "OT". It makes it sound scarce and valuable to be a Sea Org member.

And that's... the rest of the story.

He can't be "acting" as a security guard and wearing a uniform, if he's not licensed by the state of CA!

  37. Re: Sea Org Recruitment poster

It should be easy to determine whether or not they actually have returned as their "We Come Back" slogan says. Many sea-org and former sea-org members have passed on, have any of them reported back on post to serve the second leg of the billion year contract? Are sea-org contracts renegotiable after, say, 453 million years of service.

    Re: Sea Org Recruitment poster

So scientology is not only promoting, but endorsing violence against "opposing forces", such as protesters and Anonymous?

Huh. I can think of many people here who could use this as evidence in a court of law right now.

    Thanks Pooks :)
