Re: Sea Org Recruitment poster Nice! The string goes of to a pocket (whistle maybe? aint that a boat thing?). What he is holding is the only thing that looks shooped to me but that seems pretty silly unless that thing has significance. Other than that I think its just another pic of the ol fat head playing boat captain. And another for the shoop files!
Re: Sea Org Recruitment poster LMFAO! Beautiful Freaky One! It truly catches the spirit of a cruise with Ronny! XP

Re: Sea Org Recruitment poster The string's a lanyard, and if memory serves, it's just clipped on to a pocket, not attached to anything at the other end. Sea Org types wear them to indicate ... uh, actually I forget what they heck they indicate, exactly. Which org/part of the insanity they're assigned to? Something like that. I guess they got the idea from somewhere or another, but every other experience I've had with lanyards (that didn't involve Scientology), they were attached to stuff. The aforementioned whistles, pens, badges, decoder rings, hell, even guns. The point of the lanyardage I knew/know is to keep you from losing stuff. So just wearing them for no other apparent purpose than to wear a string around your neck, that always seemed odd to me, kinda like wearing a watch chain without a watch at the other end.
Re: Sea Org Recruitment poster ^^ Yeh, that's right about the lanyards. Not attached to anything but pocket. From memory: Green = Flag or Flag Liaison (FOLO) staff Light Blue = Commodore's Messengers (CMO) - same colour Elron is wearing White = Missionaire Status Purple = Used to be Pubs (Bridge Publications) I don't remember the other colours. Around the neck was casual. SO uniform shirts have flaps with buttons on the arms, lanyards in the SO were actually supposed to be worn on the left.
Re: Sea Org Recruitment poster And......... Whatsa matta with you hat? Looks like its shooped big time... I wonder if its another Jeff Baker production? Wash Post reveals Scientology's doctored image after ex-follower's Dec 1999 discovery

Re: Sea Org Recruitment poster That's incorrect german. That probably either means they didn't have qualified staff available for translation at the time or that there are some stupid rules in place that determine how each word has to be translated.
Wow. Uh... Cult needs new shoop skills. I've seen 12 year olds do better jobs than that. "Can you feel the emergency?" is just screaming to be put on a banner. Just sayin'.
Dear Shoopsters, might I suggest adding the lady's right forearm, hand grasping a can labelled "Free Beings", to that poster. Or "Baked Beings" or "Rice and Beings". You get the drift.
Re: text on poster... I swear, I've gotten so when I read things on these boards with crazy grammar and rambling thoughts which sound like they might make sense but don't, it's always written by Hub. Lol
^^ Not shooped, right? (Just checking. The line between their ridiculous promos and over-the-top satire is very thin.)
Have you ever taken LSD or Angle Dust? Those are the drugs they question still? Meth is ok, just don't do any of that angel dust. Angels are a piece of R6 someone picked up.
