Wait, someone said the police didn't like the word brainwashing on one sign.

    Re: The Grinstead Win Thread

i imagine the police like book launching scilons less.

    Re: The Grinstead Win Thread

The Police told one Anon to remove his sign that said "Scientology is a brainwashing evil cult", rather aggressively in fact. If he didn't take it down he would've been arrested. He later stuck a load of Anonymous stickers over the offending words and put the sign back up.

So we're not allowed to use the words "brainwashing" and "evil" in East Grinstead.

Circling the drain was totally epic, thanks have to go to Richard Woods for the idea! I can't actually believe we were allowed to stand right outside the gates of Saint Hill!!

They didn't like the word, but they LOVED us. They were verfy helpful, and their presence kept us (mostly) safe.

Oh, and we had a camera crew from More 4 News there.

We didn't just sneak into the monster's lair, we crept up to it and poked it in the eye.

    Re: The Grinstead Win Thread

Myself, Captain Anonymous, narCONon and two other people with us were tailed back to our car by a Scilon PI, after some cunning backtracking and eventually confronting him we managed a Bourne Identity-style getaway and I don't think he got the number plate.

We've got videos and pics and stuff, they'll be up shortly.

Other than that though - great day!

This thread was started as the event was actually taking place....I'd call that breaking news.... :)

    Re: The Grinstead Win Thread

That was so win I have no words to properly describe it.

East Grinstead; People were either Scilons, or they loved us.

The Anonymous march at St. Hill was pure brilliance in both idea and preformance.

Walking around St. Hill was bizarry, halarious, and absolutely brilliant.

Pictures will go on proper upload soon, and hopefully be done by the time I hit the bed.

(Tipster, BorisAnonymous, keep an eye on your PM's.)

    Re: The Grinstead Win Thread

I actually giggled. That was some seriously horrible secret filming. I actually had some fun while we were at the back end of St. Hill, seeing a human shaped shadow in the bushes off to the side I started waving, shadow disappears. Shadow reemerges, I wave, shadow disappears. I think that happened somewhere around 5-7 times before we moved on.

This reminds me of some sort of children spie cartoon.

  28. Re: The Grinstead Win Thread

A map needs to made of our full route from East Grinstead, the journey was fucking epic from the start.

Seriously though, we were fucking great.

What happened with the student trolling we left early from?

Number count; Got nothing exact, but 40 give or take is a decent guesstimation. About 30 Anons and 10 OG.

    Re: The Grinstead Win Thread

    Guys, we lost longcat ;_;
    We kinda weren't paying attention when we rolled into CJ and ran off the train at full pelt... and nobody had longcat no more: BAWWWWW ;_;

Though she answered NONE of our questions directly and was blates lying a lot of the time- she also compared what we're doing when we're reading about OTIII and that to entering a formula 1 race, when you don't know how to drive.
    Was like, wut.
She wouldn't answer properly whether she would've still joined if she knew about Xenu and stuff before =P
Also, disregarded the FZ, didn't seem in approval.
Also, confusing, contradicting and conflicting views on the RPF, lulz.
And stuff... we talked to her for like half an hour (I and AnonEye, then drillerkiller, then Anonhopeful for a bit).
And didn't really get any answers.

I'm aching, the walk was win.
You're all win. We're win. Fuck yeah.
Although my nipples are sore... ¬_¬
Vin's vid won't be up till Monday apparently =(

Where be pictures of the "No Anons" sign? That was like, wow- though the camp guy in the Oxfam shop was awesome xDDD

And I love how the majority of the village/ town/ thing HATE them. Hehe.

Edit: Oo, and the OTIV ADMITTED that the story about Xenu is true =D
She also said she'd had engrams and stuff.

    Re: The Grinstead Win Thread

Full spectrum of public response as expected. A couple of people shouted "assholes" and I saw three one-finger salutes, but we got SO MANY vehicle honks, so many shouts of support, including right at the end of the day a driver shouting, "I'm right with you: they're BLOODY NUTTERS!"

When we were right up close to the castle, there was a guy peeking at us round the corner. He went away as he approached. Aaah! It's like being in the zoo.

We did lots of chanting at the gates of the estate, but weren't allowed to when right next to their property.

Janet Laveau (OSA PR UK) was wandering around the gardens, along with a Scn security guard and one other Scn. Other people were visible in the building. We waved (we're friendly folk). They closed their curtains (Flunk! Non Confront!)

When we were in front of the castle, Richard Woods gave a moving talk about RPF: how in the Sea Org people get used to the crappy diet of three meals of porridge a day (if the org is on a low condition), but in the RPF you don't even get that: you get other people's leftovers to eat.

Major Lulz win of the day was the anti-Anonymous stickers that a local Scn distributed to all the shops in the street. These were to put in a window to show they wouldn't serve people who wear V masks. I don't think any of the other shopkeepers put the stickers up. In fact one of them gave theirs to Bonnie.

There were many delicious suppressive edibles.

What this day taught me is, and forgive me for shouting, ANONYMOUS SETS THE AGENDA. Anywhere Scientology is, we can be there, and in serious numbers. They hide from us, not vice versa.

Well worth coming from Bristol for!

    Re: The Grinstead Win Thread

I'd agree with that estimate. Although nominally a "Mini-raid" this was seriously big by most standards.

    Re: The Grinstead Win Thread

Shit, you guys should have refused to take the sign down. It happening AGAIN two weeks later after the CPS said no-no? Major news story. Sounds like otherwise you had a win, though. Cheers.

Edit: At the very least you should complain to the police.

hell yea!! Post game report (in two parts due to size)

    May 31st Post Game report:

    Numbers... 30-40

Brightonfags in attendance... narCONon, Sku & AnonAnon

    Epic day was epic!!!!!!

we arrived via Haywards Heath at about 11am, to find Anonymous already in atendance. A group was around the war memorial in the high street. Almost immediatly, a woman walked passed, and had a go at us for "desicrating a war memorial" which was odd, considering we wheren't touching it at all. Possible $cilon?

    Anons, winning:
IMG_1037 on Flickr - Photo Sharing!

Pretty soon we picked up our resident group of $cilon watchers and the police. The crowd were great... Most people in East Grinstead are really opinionated, either for or against Scientology. For each car that went passed honking, we had one going passed swearing at us! After about five minutes, Sku had a copper coming over, telling him (rather rudely, you might say) that he must remove his "SCIENTOLOGY IS A BRAINWASHING EVIL CULT" sign or be arrested. He removed the sign, and avoided being v&. Apart from that, the police where lovely.

We had a few bullbaters. One guy walked passed twice, shouting YOU'RE ALL WANKERS! and one lovely lady come over to me, ripped up the flier I'd given her and told me to shove it up my arse.

After about 4 hours in the town centre, we left and marched (with a police escort) to SAINT HILL MANOR (an anonymous first!!!) We stood outside the (Open) front gates and enturbulated them for ages, with many a chant and readings of OTIII. We kept spotting james bond scilons hiding in bushes, photographing us, so we engaged in a heartening chant of WE CAN SEE YOU, WE CAN SEE YOU!

    Re: The Grinstead Win Thread

    This is actually very true.

Some "trained" OSA thugs might come up and start rambling about how we are cowards for wearing masks, but they never seem to do say much about how everyone is at the other end of town, or in an entirely different town altogether, for their shopping.

    Re: The Grinstead Win Thread

second part of the post game:

After enturbulating at the gates for a bit, we left to find a back view of the manor. After much trudging through the woods (thats right we had an anonymous adventure) we found the back of the manor. The police said we couldn't chant, but we had a hench silent protest at the back, with the Sea org guys watching us with an angry look. Boy oh boy, they where shocked when we turned up!!! Twas epic!!!

Photos from the back and the anonymous adventure:

IMG_1124 on Flickr - Photo Sharing!

Then we went back to front gates, completeing our circumfrence of the gounds. We enturbulated for another half hour or so, then caught a taxi back into town.

The black blob is at the gates:
IMG_1132 on Flickr - Photo Sharing!

When we got back into town, we had a pretty hairy situation. Basicly, we were walking back to the car, which was parked in the suburbs. However, before we got there, we noticed there was a guy following us. We walked straight passed the car, and around a corner, were we stopped, and sat down. He came round the corner and walked passed us with a brief "hi" and carryed on down the street. We walked back the way we came, and low and behold he followed us again. After much switch backing and stuff, it got to the point were he was running after us down the street, filming us. Then we confronted him. I asked him why he was following us. He claimed he was just out for a walk. I told him if he didnt leave us alone I would call the police. We deliberatly walked off in a different direction to him. However, we suspected he was still following us, so we did an epic dive into the car and bombed it off away from East Grinstead.

Photos of the PI. (video + more photos coming later)

IMG_1139 on Flickr - Photo Sharing!

    And, the wierdo again:
IMG_1138 on Flickr - Photo Sharing!

and so ended an epic day!!!
