this is great, Moxon at #21 I posted this to the thread at the Village Voice:

The Moxon entry is a hoot, good call Mr Ortega.
The last time scientology tried to depose me, I got a check from Kendrick Moxon for $45.00 as a witness fee.. I never cashed it as the money was slavers dollars and I wanted a souvenir of this exchange:

Deposition starts with Video running, Scientology attorney Rosen doing questions:

ROSEN: Mr Lerma why do you continue to say bad things about the Church of Scientology?

LERMA: Mr. Rosen, are you referring to the international psychopolitical terrorist organization dba scientology and related entities, doing a brisk yet rapidly shrinking business defrauding the public worldwide?

ROSEN: (Sputters) You can't talk about Church of Scientology that way!!

LERMA: Mr Rosen, Are you trying to trick me into committing perjury on your behalf?

    ROSEN: This deposition is over!

    -----------------------

And here is image of the uncashed check:

Bryan(balls-o-steel)Seymour deserve a lot of credit for what has been unfolding in AU.
Yes yes, I know lotsa Ex's came forward and yadda yadda yadda, but Seymour fired up from the moment Today Tonight aired "Scientology and Me" and every other major media outlet either didn't seem interested in scientology being a mind fuck/fraud, or were apologetic for it.

    KUDOS Bryan, KUDOS!

John shouty Sweeney and subsequently Tommy Footbullet Davis.
Just when the cult of scientology thought that the controversy was safely dying down after the Tom Cruise, You're Glib Matt Lauer, I know the history of psychiatry, insulting Brook Shields, Jumping all over Oprha's couch, getting butthurt over South Park....stuff....then....wham.... in 2007 BBC Panorama with John Sweeney hit our screens and made global news. Rinder blew and Tommy Davis ran away to Vegas before he was dragged back to footbullet on camera some more. It was so good it earned the cult a double length Panorama sequel last year.

I think we'll see an entry on each Behar, Bashir, Sweeny and Seymour. And one on Paulette Cooper.

Arnie - I love it. Well done!!!!! Not much a signature there. A bit pompous and not very clear. What is it - HHH? Or 666?

    ^^^^^^^^^^^How to testify 101^^^^^^^^^^^^

(Reminds me of Clarence Darrow's great retort:
Judge: Mr. Darrow, are you trying to show contempt for this court?
Darrow: No your honor, I'm trying to hide it.)

I'd never looked at that signature before... but you may have a point... When the Nazi party was out of favor in Germany, members would correspond with each other, signing their letters 88 for Heil Hitler, H being the 8th letter of the alphabet. (And Hubbard did use 88 many times...as in 8-8008, Technique 88, 8 dynamics..) and if you flip the check over, it DOES look a bit like 666. Never noticed this before. Thanks for pointing it out. Regards Arnie
  18. No doubt.

Why did you black out the checking account info? Afraid Anonymous would hack into Moxon's checking account?
  20. ArnieLerma Member

Because the admins or the prior admins at WhyWeProtest demanded it, the first time I posted this image.

Hey Super Power Entheta! Good job!

Nice to see the pics. You may want to stick them in a separate thread so people can appreciate them. Also would like to hear more about what you were talking about in the VV thread.
Be careful, don't give too much identifying information. But I think what you may have to say is important and deserves a more directed thread as to the background.

An excellent choice! I dropped my jaw when the trailer for South Park aired the first time. Stan flunks a free personality test. Could it be? Yes, and it was better than anybody could have imagined. I sensed that this cartoon marked the beginning of the end for Scientology. They bawwed, tried to get it yanked. Succeeded briefly, then failed forever. They just aired 'Trapped in the Closet' a couple of weeks ago. That one is out of the bag for good.

I didn't know anything about Scientology before watching that episode. I even thought they were just another christian offshoot since they use a cross.
After watching the show it didn't affect me much other than give me a chuckle.

What got me curious about Scientology, more than the show did, was that they tried to prevent the show from airing.
The best way to draw attention to something is to censor it.

I'd like to see Tory up there, the wise and energetic grandmother of Chanology. She deserves a spot on the Ortega top 25.

Always a smile with Tory. Tory works and she helps people.
