WHITE HOUSE PETITION TO INVESTIGATE THE CHURCH OF SCIENTOLOGY

PLEASE SIGN THE WHITE HOUSE PETITION TO INVESTIGATE SCIENTOLOGY ABUSES, REQUEST EVERYONE YOU KNOW TO DO THE SAME, AND CROSS-POST THIS WHERE EVER YOU CAN.

The White House has just introduced “a new way to petition the Obama Administration to take action” on many issues. If a petition receives 5,000 signatures within 30 days “it will be reviewed by the Administration and an official response will be issued. And we’ll make sure that the petition is sent to the appropriate policy makers in the Administration.” Click on https://wwws.whitehouse.gov/petitions

We believe that we can accumulate at least 5,000 signatures within 30 days: from Anonymous, Independent Scientologists, Free Zoners, former Church of Scientology members, “the old guard of critics,” concerned citizens and others. Please help us do so by clicking on: Short URL: http://wh.gov/4Os and Save and Share this long URL: https://wwws.whitehouse.gov/petitions/!/petition/examine-government’s-failure-investigate-and-prosecute-church-scientology-crime-fraud-and-abuse/L27wg021

Follow up emails and letters to the White House would also assist. https://wwws.whitehouse.gov/contact

Since late 2008 a significant number of former Church of Scientology senior staff members and executives have provided information to the FBI as internal whistle blowers. There is good reason to believe that Church of Scientology leader David Miscavige has used well placed Washington lawyers to cause the Department of Justice to delay and disrupt the FBI’s investigation. In the past, Miscavige’s Washington lawyers have included Monique Yingling, Esq. and her husband Gerald Feffer, Esq. who recently retired but who was a senior partner at the leading Washington law firm of Williams & Connolly. Previously he was at the Department of Justice as an assistant deputy attorney general for tax matters.

The content of the petition is self explanatory. A number of people have contributed to the content. Please excuse the density. The White House imposes a 120 character limit on the title and a 800 character limit on the content of the petition itself.

“We petition the Obama Administration to …”

EXAMINE THE GOVERNMENT’S FAILURE TO INVESTIGATE AND PROSECUTE CHURCH OF SCIENTOLOGY CRIME, FRAUD AND ABUSE.

WHEREAS, the FBI has 300+ recent complaints of Scientology crimes and atrocities - human trafficking, forced abortions and civil rights violations, and the IRS has evidence of private inurement violations justifying INTERMEDIATE SANCTIONS, and existing evidence on hand meets RICO statutes,WE REQUEST that the White House investigate and employ a Special Prosecutor to:

    EXAMINE why, with such an abundance of RICO evidence of Scientology being a corrupt and criminal entity, no law enforcement agency has moved forward;

    INVESTIGATE undue favor and pressure brought by lawyers for Scientology leader David Miscavige to stop the investigations;

EXAMINE why around the world the “church” is investigated as a criminal entity while the U.S. Government does nothing?

If you are having trouble accessing the Scientology petition at the White House website we have found that this short URL works the best:

If media picks this up, at least it might cause people to think twice before doing any little favors for Scientology.

Nicole Boxer (Senator Barbara Boxer's daughter) married a Clinton - in the White House. Kind of a big deal. http://www.whitehousehistory.org/whha_history/history_faqs-06.html

    Nicole is on Facebook too.

So, Marty is your guide to truth & enlightenment? Good luck with that. Graham is trying something new. At least he's doing something!!!

I give him creds for that.

Nicole married Tony Rodham, Hillary's brother. They later divorced & in 2002, Rodham was sued for failure to make child support payments. He remarried in 2005.

Having a known former OSA operative attacking anonymous in this topic is probably not going to garner a huge number of signatures, but you never know...

Perhaps the anon above is correct when they posted:

While I will disagree that this is fail, I will agree that disclosing our identities in this endeavor is clearly fail. I hope all of those people who have already been identified will consider signing.

EDIT: Perhaps a mod might consider moving this to "Active Projects."

    Nonsense.

Ahhh.. shit. You again?? Your cave get too cramped? Nice of you to come back just to derail a worthwhile thread, OSAbot.

You're cleverly playing both sides of the fence. I'm on record in support of this initiative, just conditionally. You are not.

Also, is this open to us non-yanks?
  24. Anonymous Member

John Coale also helpfully provided Hugh Rodham with employment at some point as he did David Miscavige's mother.

    Can non-Amerifags sign?

Yes, and several from the UK & Germany have already.

for all people saying that its a waste of time, stranger things have happened.
and it can't hurt one bit.
but It's a shame people can't sign unless they want to be namefagged. :(

EDITED, I looked at the list and your entire name and area will not be shown?
But you do have to sign up with an account :(

perhaps several vids would help spread the news?

The important thing is we get a statement, a response of some kind. Even if it is "scientology is a religion and it is good and does no harm". Because then we know what the stance of the White House is, and whatever statement they issue, we can use it.

As you said, it can't hurt one bit.

Conceded, but we're talking about the US here. I should have qualified my statement, which I now do:

Wasn't there a previous petition in early 2009, issues the new White House should be looking at?

That didn't seem to do much.
  37. RightOn Member

    even if it didn't
the more this comes up again and again, the more people will take notice?

The 2009 thing was the ask Obama about whatever on youtube. Where we did pretty well, got into top 10 in the "other" category and it got some media mentions, however Obama only answered a small amount of questions, like the top question in every category.

But by comparsion it did more than most other questions because this was an issue people were surprised to see that high on the list which is why it was mentioned in media whereas other - more popular questions - did not.

And this is different, this isn't a "top 10" or whatever. We don't have to compete with anyone. It's just 5000 signatures and that's it. So by comparison, this is a much easier target.
  39. Hombre Moderator Skandinaviska

little quick math says we need approximatey 160 signatures a day to get to 5000. So far we have about 80, so we're half way done for today's quota. The start is always the hardest, so keep at it and we have a fair chance of accomplishment.
